Anthony Owens Camps
Lead Instructor - Anthony Owens
Coach Owens is the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Columbia Basin College, where he holds a 67-32 record (.677). In 2024, he led CBC to a 20-9 finish, a 2nd-place East Region finish, and a top-8 appearance at the NWAC Tournament. Sophomores La'Trell Barker and Ta'Veus Randle earned NABC All-American honors under his leadership.
Owens made an immediate impact in year one, turning around the program with a 9-4 record and top-3 NWAC rankings in scoring, FG%, 3PT%, and FT%.
Before CBC, Owens coached at UT-Tyler during their NCAA DII transition and was head coach at the University of Providence (MT) for four seasons. As an assistant, he spent five years at Portland State, helping the team reach the NCAA Tournament and improve academic standing. He also coached at College of Eastern Utah and Eastern Arizona, where he helped assemble one of the top JUCO rosters in recent memory.
As a player, Owens starred at Arkansas-Fort Smith and the University of Great Falls, earning All-Conference honors and leading the Frontier Conference in rebounding.
Outside the college season, he serves as a Lead Camp Director for Breakthrough Basketball, helping develop youth players.
