Jeff Huber

Jeff Huber is the Content Creation Manager for Breakthrough Basketball. His responsibilities focus on creating valuable coaching content for players, coaches, & parents. This content comes in various forms, including articles, videos, ebooks, and other platforms.

Jeff played at St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio. While there, he was a McDonald’s All-Star Game Nominee. After graduating from St. Ed’s, Jeff played collegiately at the College of Wooster and Ohio Wesleyan University. Jeff graduated from Ohio Wesleyan with a BA and later earned a Master's Degree from Ursuline College.

Jeff has 21 years of high school coaching experience, including 15 years as a varsity boys coach in the Cleveland area. Among his coaching accomplishments:

  • 4x Conference Coach Of The Year
  • 2018 Greater Cleveland Basketball Coaches Association Coach Of The Year
  • Coached winningest season in school history at Holy Name High School - 23-4
  • Coached winningest season in school history at Westlake High School - 20-3
  • Won 1st Two District Championships at Holy Name High School since 1954 (2015 & 2017)
  • 5 Conference Championships
  • His 2018 Holy Name team finished 2nd in the state of Ohio in points per game (91.5) and scored over 100 points 11 times, including a school record 116 points in a game.
  • Top 10 Ohio AP Poll ranking (2017)
  • 3x Top 10 in Ohio for points per game (2018, 2019, 2022)
  • Coached Dwayne Cohill, current professional player in Italy
  • Has run over 50 youth basketball camps
  • Currently trains dozens of players in grades 3-9 in the Cleveland area

In addition to his high school experience, Jeff also has coached 8 seasons of youth basketball for his daughters, Quinn and Tatum. Jeff currently coaches boys & girls middle school basketball in Avon, Ohio. Jeff and his wife, Brianne, have been married since 2010.
