Pound-Move-Pushout
Ages: All Ages Youth Middle School High School+
Purpose of the Drill:
The purpose of this drill is to work on your offensive move and pushing out the first dribble after the move.
Instructions

- The player pounds the basketball in a stationary position 1-5 times.
- He then executes a move (inside out, crossover, between the legs, double crossover, etc.) and pushes the ball out after the move for one hard dribble and about two steps.
- The player then repeats the process the length of the court and back.
Points of Emphasis:
- Pound the basketball hard.
- Execute the move low and quick.
- Push out low, quick, and in a balanced position.
- Work on all moves going both right to left and left to right.
