Chelton,

This looks like a good plan..... I want you to ask yourself this first...

What areas do I need to improve on... and IF they aren't in this plan..... add them...... (only you know your game)

I think I would add FORM SHOOTING to your plan every day.... along with a few quickness drills.

Thanks for the reply coach,

The areas that I need to improve most is handling and dribbling, as I'm a perimeter player. And quickness too. (Included on the plan).

Oh, yeah, Will do FORM SHOOTING for sure (thinking about 50 at the begging and 50 at the end of the workout) along with other shoots (200), for a total of 300.

Form shooting.... 50 is more than enough I would think... at the beginning.... then... I would start shooting close to the basket so you can still concentrate on your form.... them move back as you get comfortable.... that will give you 250 shots a day.

So, 50 Form Shooting, and other 200 starting close from the basket.
Oh, and the shooting will be wall (with a line)shooting, as I'll practice at home and still don't have a hoop yet. Will it still be that effective ?

Form shooting against a wall is great... but when you do your regular shooting workout.... you really need a basket... find someplace to go to shoot. See if you can find a partner that wants to improve as much as you do...... that will make it more fun and you will probably get through the workout faster.

50 Form
50 close 5-10 range
100 mid range jumpers 15 feet or so
100 3s?

Understood it. Will look for a place to shoot.

Won't 100 3's hurt my form and consistency? Maybe 50 at the moment, and if I see improvements and feel comfortable with 3's, increase to 100.?

How old are you and how good is your shooting percentage.... IF you are NOT a three point shooter, forget that suggestion.... and work on the mid range shots.

14 years old. Playing at High School level. I have a pretty good shooting (never did a shooting workout before so the percentages wouldn't be accurate). And yes, some of the attempted 3 pointers go in; if not, at least the ball stays at the shooting line). But again, never spent a day shooting too much (more than 50).

Work on your shooting where you are comfortable.... and you make a pretty good percentage and then work your way back. Start taking some stats so you know if you are improving or not.

Don't forget to shoot some free throws... that is another way to straighten out your form.... and your shooting percentage should be good from that distance. Again, try to find a partner to work with.... makes things a lot easier.

Good luck.
