I'm 6-3 with really long arms. My coach says that my shooting elbow needs to be level with my chin, that way I can shoot over people. Is he correct? Because I can't seem to get any power on a higher release. How can I get more power / raise my shooting elbow ? Thanks
Jackson; your power comes from your legs, not your elbow. A good shooter never misses left and never misses right as long as your elbow is on the target. The quickness of your release of the ball. will aid you shooting over people. Just remember all the fundamentals of shooting, balance eyes, elbow on target, follow through. .
