I really don't understand your questions. I read them all. I realize you are not an American but I think you are using syntax and descriptors that make your questions really cryptic, exceptionally broad and confusing.

I know you are a Pschyology Grad. It also seems to me that you are doing some type of research. That is fine and is ok by me, but I don't think you will find what you need by posting on a forum. There are books and books citing years of studies that delve into the subject matter you ask about and you would be much better served by looking into those. Or, if in fact, you are doing research, try to contact some of us directly and have a conversation. I would have no problem speaking or emailing with you.

If you are not doing research and have an interest in basketball, as a fan, player or coach you have to remember it is a game. Such deep and heady topics are not the purpose that we get into what we do. They might be a by-product but the game is supposed to be fun and that is why we do what we do.

I have coached for almost 30 years, 27 of those in college where education and personal development were central to the mission, so I am not a stranger to nor do I mind getting into those discussions. But, I think you should ask what it is you want to know, let me know what it is you are trying to accomplish and maybe I, and others, might be more effective in helping you.

In the immortal words of Jerry McGuire, "Help me help you." Tell me what you hope to accomplish and I will discuss it for days.

No Don, your thoughts are right on.... I was thinking the same thing.... exactly WHAT are you looking for? Your questions seem to come out of the blue...at least for me they are -

Maybe Jeff & Joe can put together a forum where you can ask some questions to the group instead of posts or e mails. There are some very smart people in this group, a lot smarter than I am - I am sure that they could help you a lot.... IF You would just tell us exactly what you are looking for.
