Unfortunately, you may have to re-think your offense if you'll be playing against zone defenses. Dribble drive motion would probably work after moving the zone around with good passing.

Win win win is why. They don't have a clue on development. They tried to explain to me how zone is more effective defense and you can win more games with it.

Interesting reasoning by the league directors. Is this league considered a "recreational league" (e.g. YMCA, City, etc.)?

Yes it's a rec league. I'm working my way up to change things. A lot of the teams are stacked. I'm always given the kids considered second string but I alway end up having a winning team. When I bring development I'm told they either have it or not. Compared to other areas our kids at the high schooler level our area kids are not good at all we can't compete with teams. Our local high school had 8 players try out at school with 800 kids that's just sad. It's also the parents of the talented kids that have a lot of push to the rules. I want every kid to get a chance but I can't get the others to see that
