It’s great for parents and coaches of high school players ages 14 to 18. There are even tips for players entering their senior year of high school. And there are recruiting tips for the very end of a player’s senior year.
And this isn’t just for players striving for college scholarships or a professional career. It’s for players who want to make the team and earn more playing time.
The course is led by expert Jim Huber. Jim Huber has developed and coached some of the best players in the world at the youth and high school level. This includes current NBA players like Michael Porter, Jr., Willie Cauley-Stein, Alec Burks, and Semi Ojeleye. He has developed elite players that attended some of the best college programs in the nation such as Duke, Michigan State, and Kentucky.
He has helped over 50 players go through the recruiting process and reach the college level. This includes over 20 players at the Division 1 level. So he’s been through the process many times and understands the ins and outs.
Some of Coach Jim Huber's coaching credentials include:
- Over 25 years of basketball coaching experience at the youth, high school, and college levels.
- Coached Team USA West to a 1st place finish at the 2013 Nike Global Challenge.
- Coached at the Nike Elite 100 Camp which selects the top 100 high school players.
- #1 Team Defense at 2013 Nike EYBL which has the top 40 Nike High School teams from North America and consists of 18 regular season games. Qualified for 2013 Nike Peach Jam. Competed against dozens of future NBA players.
- A head coach for Mokan Basketball. Mokan is a direct Nike sponsor program. In 2012 when Coach Huber was Director of Basketball Operations, Mokan reached the Final Four at the Peach Jam, which only selects the top 24 teams from the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL).
- 45 Championships, 13 Runner-up Finishes, and 26 Final Four Finishes at regional and national tournaments since 2004.
You won’t find many people like Jim Huber who are expert trainers, coached at the college level, developed youth and high school players into pros, coached many youth teams, and coached elite Nike EYBL teams. In addition, Jim has spent decades studying nutrition and mental training. It’s a rare expertise that many coaches and parents need to guide them through the youth and high school basketball process.
Troy Horne was a professional Broadway Musician and a touring musician. However, he is now a basketball parent! But he knew nothing about the sport of basketball before having a kid who loved the game.
Like many basketball parents, Troy did everything that he could to help his young athlete, but couldn't find a great resource. That was until he discovered Jim Huber during one of their interviews on his basketball podcast show. Out of the hundreds of big names in the basketball coaching and training industry that Troy interviewed, Jim stood at the top!
