Man to Man Basketball Play - Cross
Here is a great play that includes multiple options to attack the basket and really put pressure on the defense. It includes a backdoor cut, a dribble hand off, ball picks, and the options for drive-and-kicks.
Instructions

- The play starts with:
1 at the top of the key with the ball.
2 on the right wing
3 on the left wing.
4 on the left block.
5 on the right block.
- To initiate the play, 2 and 3 cross. As soon as 2
and 3 cross, 4 and 5 cut to the high post.

- 1 passes to 4 or 5.
- 1st Option - After the pass, 3 cuts backdoor. (Note: It's important that the wing takes a couple of steps high before the cut. This will create better timing and a better passing angle by bringing the defense higher.)

- 2nd Option - If the backdoor cut is not open, 3 continues to the
opposite corner. Next, 1 will cut to the free throw line, then
cut off of 5 for the dribble handoff.
If 5 sees his defender cheating to cover the hand off, 5 could fake the hand off, then attack the basket.

- 3rd Option - If the 2nd option is not there, 1 spaces out to the corner and 4 sets a ball screen for 5.

- 4th Option - If the ball cannot be passed to the high post initially, 1 enters the ball to the wing.

- After the pass, 1 cuts to the corner. 5 screens 4, and 4 immediately sets a ball screen for 3. (Note: The screen
between 4 and 5 makes it more difficult to cover the ball screen.)
3 looks to score. 4 can roll or pop.
