Lead Instructor - Nathan Schneider

Coach Nathan Schneider brings high-level playing and coaching experience to Breakthrough Basketball. He currently serves as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Basketball program at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

A standout player at Pitt-Bradford, Coach Schneider made an immediate impact during his two seasons with the Panthers, averaging 21.9 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game over 52 contests. He reached the 1,000-point milestone in just 45 games and was honored as the 2022–23 Pitt-Bradford Male Athlete of the Year. His accolades include two First Team All-AMCC selections and seven AMCC Player of the Week awards.

Following his success at Pitt-Bradford, Schneider used his graduate year to compete at the NCAA Division II level with Gannon University, where he played in 35 games for the Golden Knights.

Coach Schneider is passionate about teaching the game and helping young players develop the skills, mindset, and work ethic needed to succeed on and off the court.
