Rebound, Outlet, and Run Drill
Ages: All Ages Youth Middle School High School+
Purpose of the Drill:
The purpose of this drill is to teach players how to go up and grab a rebound while getting hit, pivot and outlet the ball, and then run the floor and finish at the other end.
Instructions

- The player throws the ball off the backboard and goes up and gets it.
- A coach is in the lane with a blocking pad bumping the player while he is going up to grab the rebound and outlet it.

- The player who got the rebound outlets the ball to his guard circling back and then immediately sprints down the center of the floor.

- The player who made the outlet pass receives a pass back from player 1 and finishes at the rim.
- There is a coach in the lane with a blocking pad bumping the player as he finishes.
Points of Emphasis:
- Go up and get the basketball.
- Keep the ball high.
- Pivot away from the middle.
- Sprint down the middle of the floor with your hands ready to catch and finish.
- Absorbe the bumps and throw a good outlet and finish.
