Instructions

  • Begin on the baseline with the basketball and attack the first cone.
  • As you attack the first cone, use choppy steps to slow down your approach.
  • Incorporate a change of direction move (inside out, crossover, between the legs, behind the back, and spin dribble) and push past the cone (defender) to the next cone.
  • After the third cone pushout and finish at the rim.
  • Repeat starting with the other hand and coming back from the opposite direction.

Points of Emphasis:

  • Change speeds and chang directions in a balanced position.
  • Keep your hips down as you approach and go past the cone.
  • Explode out of your move low, balanced, and aggressively to the next cone.
  • Finish high at the rim with your body square and aggressively. Do not slow down as you approach the rim.
