Creating Space Drill
Ages: All Ages Youth Middle School High School+
Purpose of the Drill:
To create space while using your back dribble and then change directions.
Instructions

- Player 1 attacks the first cone then uses his back dribble to create space.
- Then execute a change of direction move (right to left) and attack the next cone.
- Continue the sequence through all 5 cones. Then come back using the same move in the opposite direction (left to right).
Points of Emphasis:
- Incorporate different change of direction moves, crossover, between the legs, behind the back, spin dribble.
- Push off your front leg when using your back dribble to create space.
