I run a 10 station drill where each player goes to each station for 1min. The drill I run at each station are as follows
1.chest pass (against wall)
2.bounce pass (against wall)
3.mikan drill
4.form shooting
5.form shooting
6.around the world shooting
7.stationary dribble right hand
8.left hand dribble
9.right hand dribble
10. some type of conditioning drill (jump rope, push ups, situps, jumping jacks.)
Thes are 3rd to 5th grade girls any other suggestion of good drills that work in this set up. Or any other suggestion would help thanks

I'm a big believer in the rotating drill stations when I have a large group (30-50) for one of my youth basketball summer clinics. I utilitize all 6 hoops in a large gym with a coach at each hoop demonstrating a certain skill or drill. Each group of girls is anywhere from 5 to 8 players each. I blow the whistle and rotate clockwise every 5 to 8 minutes.
You have some great suggestions for your stations. Keep it timed, keep it simple, keep it fun and keep it diverse in skills. It's good to see you have forms of conditioning at certain stations and form shooting which is so important to constantly reinforce at those ages.

As they get older and more experienced I would add boxing out drill, shooting on the move, m2m defensive stance/drills, blow-by offensive moves(upfake-drive, jab step, swing left-blow-by right,) and maybe simple pick-n-roll plays or backdoor cuts on the overplay with coach making pass. These station ideas do require 2 or more players at each station and a few helper coaches/parents.

For these ages, 3rd, 4th and even 5th grade i have set up the gym as an obstactle course basically using hoops and the walls like you do for shooting and passing, cones to dribble around and then time each kid with a stopwatch. Best time gets a Gatorade.

Keep you the great work coach!!!

Coach,
It sounds like you have planned/organized practices. Thats great. One suggestion I would make would be to possibly consider lay-up drills as well and/or a drill with players catching a pass from a teammate. By having a player catch the pass, you can teach triple threat position as well as a 1-2 step or catching off a jumpstop. Keep up the good work.
