After a long hiatus, I’m back to posting.
A very quick update on the last several years…
I took a break from coaching to watch my kids play high school ball. My daughter graduated high school last year, and now it’s just my son Evan playing.
Evan’s high school team needed an assistant coach for the 2023/24 season. I told them that if no one volunteered, I would help. I guess they were really desperate, because I am now officially an assistant for Springville High School basketball. 🙂
I told you that would be quick. I know you’re here for “basketball”, not my life story. At the same time, I figure an update was due.
Upcoming posts…
Now that you’re caught up, I will start posting:
- what we’ve been doing with our teams (drills, plays, tactics, ideas, strategy)
- what has worked
- what has not worked
- and of course, my thoughts
The Springville players and the coaching staff have worked hard, and the team has seen incredible improvement over the past year.
I will post what I believe has been the biggest drivers towards those improvements.
It all started in the off season. My next post will discuss what we did in the off-season.
Welcome back! It’s great to see you sharing your insights and experiences once again. Your passion for basketball and dedication to helping players and coaches improve really shines through. I look forward to the valuable content you’ll be offering in the future. Thanks for continuing to be an inspiration to the basketball community!
