Dribbling drills along with ball handling drills focus on developing hand strength and coordination and focuses on change of direction moves to separate a player from the defender. Both of the drills are correlated because stronger the hands, quicker and co-ordinated the dribbles. It is ideal to practice this with both hands, perhaps by using two balls at once. One more important thing is developing the habit to look up and ahead while doing so.
