Basketball Conditioning Drills & Workouts for the Individual Athlete Wanting to Get in Great Shape

Finally, here’s something that’s really cool and quite touching with the Stephen F. Austin buzzer beater against Duke.

Nathan Bain is the player who made the buzzer beater. And Breakthrough Basketball’s very own Jim Huber actually coached Nathan! Jim had nothing but great things to say about Nathan as well.

Personally, I got to have some interactions with Nathan as well since he was in the Man to Man Defense video with Jim Huber. He was very athletic and a great guy to be around. Great attitude and personality.

And this is even more special...

I don’t know if you saw what happened with Nathan after the game. Nathan is actually from the Bahamas. And tragically, Hurricane Dorian destroyed his family’s home.

So they set up a GoFundMe page to raise donations to rebuild. Prior to the Duke game, they had raised a little over $2,000 in funds.

After the Duke game, it exploded to over $100,000! Now, it’s around $150,000 and donations are still rolling in.

And if you go through and read the comments on the page by the donors, it’s quite funny and awesome at the same time…

You will see plenty of comments saying that they donated because they don’t like Duke. Then you have Duke fans donating too! That’s the funny thing.

The awesome thing is that everybody was donating because they felt for Nathan, his family, and people in the Bahamas. It’s great to see people pull together to help others in need!

Here’s a link to the GoFundMe page if you’d like to donate or read more.

All the best,
