New dribbling, shooting, footwork, and finishing drill

This is one of the best warm up drills that you can use at the beginning of a workout or practice. It develops ball handling, footwork, finishing, and shooting. And it progressively warms up your body for more high intensity work. That way, you’re less likely to get injured.

Whether kids should play summer basketball is a hot topic. Children are specializing in sports earlier and earlier and playing sports across multiple seasons. However, this is leading to many unintended consequences. Basically, bad things happening with good intentions.

Kids are getting injured when they shouldn’t. Kids are quitting sports way too early. Kids are skipping foundational stages of athletic development which stunts their progress at an older age. And in worst-case situations, relationships between parents and their children have been ruined.
