one ball rapid fire passing

Purpose of the Drill:

The purpose of this drill is to work on hand eye coordination as well as quick short passing skills.

Instructions

  • line up players 2 feet from a hard surface wall or rebounding device
  • the second step is to have each player start quick short chest passes against the wall.
  • after each pass they will start to move back 2 feet at a time until they are 10 feet away from the wall.
  • the final step is to move in 2 feet at a time after each pass until the players are back to their starting positions.

Points of Emphasis:

  • The coach should emphasize quick short passes and correct passing form.
