Personnel:

5 players, 1 good 3 point shooter.

Instructions

  • A screen the screener action out of a 1-2-2 setup with forwards on top and guards on the bottom.
  • The Point Guard dribbles to the wing as the best shooter sets a low block cross screen to the opposite side.
  • The guard goes under the screen and opens up towards the corner 3 point line as a decoy.
  • The guard then comes up through a double screen by the two forwards. (On either side of the double screen or as a "close the door" action in between).
  • The pass comes from the wing for the 3 point shot.
  • Variation:
  • Down screen from guard to guard followed by a screen the screener action to open up for a 3 pointer from the wing.
