Purpose of the Drill:

Great drill to stress the drive and kick.

Instructions

  • 3 players start on the perimeter.
  • There must be two drive and kicks before a shot.
  • Alternate shooters each time.

Points of Emphasis:

  • Proper footwork while attacking the paint.
  • Get a piece of the paint on the drive.
  • Throw the pass so that the player catching can drive or shoot.
  • Proper footwork coming into the pass.

Motivation/Teaching Tips:

  • First player to 5 makes wins
