3/4 Court Sprint Fatigue Test

Purpose of the Drill:

To determine the player's ability to recover between sprints and reproduce the same level of power over and over.

Instructions

  • The player should sprint through the cones in the pattern that is outlined by the arrows.
  • The finish is at the opposite foul line
  • Then jog through the last set of cones and back to the start (should take 30 seconds)
  • Repeat the process 10 times.

Points of Emphasis:

  • Change directions by planting your outside foot. This will make you more efficient and lower times.
  • Don't rush back...30 seconds is a long time.

Motivation/Teaching Tips:

  • Each sprint is timed
