What’s more important than teaching life lessons and helping others? \u00a0I think basketball is a great tool to teach those lessons and set a good example for players.<\/p>\n
With that in mind, I’m sharing an email I just sent to the players on our sophomore team. \u00a0 I have found this is a great way to develop team chemistry and\u00a0teach some good life lessons<\/strong>. \u00a0A few responses have already come back. \u00a0In a few days I’ll post the results of our project.<\/p>\n Feel free to borrow, copy, and use something similar with your team…<\/p>\n Guys –<\/p>\n One of our core values it to be “selfless”.<\/p>\n We can of course do better, but we usually do a pretty good job helping each other in practice and in games. We also should help others outside of basketball…<\/p>\n I would like our team to do something to help someone\/something outside of this team. What ideas do you have to help others and do something positive?<\/p>\n There are no bad ideas. Take some time to think about something we can do as a team. Everyone needs to respond with ideas.
