I’m not real big into talking about myself but apparently some people like to know this stuff and I want to be completely transparent with everyone…<\/p>\n

I guess if I was reading this blog, I’d want to know WHO was writing this stuff and if they were a complete lunatic or what.<\/p>\n

So here you go — a little bit about me (Jeff Haefner)…<\/p>\n

I’m a basketball coach, skill development trainer, and\u00a0Co-Owner of Breakthrough Basketball<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I currently live in Marion, Iowa with my wife, two kids, and our golden retriever (Izzy).<\/p>\n

Over the past 20 plus years, I have coached 2nd grade teams all the way to high school teams.\u00a0 I have trained college players and youth players.<\/p>\n

I have had undefeated seasons, as well as difficult seasons… with painful losing streaks.<\/p>\n

I’ve been fortunate to have a wide range of experiences — spending a lot of time coaching and learning about the game.\u00a0 This is what I do and what I enjoy!<\/p>\n

As I’m updating this bio page right now, I currently coach my sons 5th grade team and my daughters 7th grade team.\u00a0 In most seasons, I find time to coach some high school basketball… but at this stage that is just too much work — and I focus on my time watching my kids play sports and coaching their youth teams.<\/p>\n
