With COVID-19, my state has implemented a Phase 2 stage of economic/social recovery. This includes allowing holding summer sports camps.
However, unfortunately, it comes with stipulations such as only one player may touch a ball before it is sanitized, etc etc.

I was planning a camp more like a clinic to educate players and parents on the mental aspects of as the game as well as the rules for my middle school team, coupled along with dribbling drills and solo shooting drills that do not violate the COVID-19 stipulations.

While designing my basketball clinic/camp plans, your periodic email entered my inbox. So, I thought I’d reply and ask if you have compiled any drills or games or something that I could use within these stipulations which would enhance my players’ camp experience.

I am sure I’m not alone in this predicament/endeavor across the country.

Any help or advice you can offer would be appreciated.

Respectfully,
Matt

We have drills scattered all over that would work. Unfortunately they have not been curated all in one place.

With that said, almost all of the Attack & Counter drills would work really well. We have a DVD program covering the Attack & Counter system and we run a camp around the country covering the same concepts, skills and drills.

Here are some example of drills, you would just alter the drill so everyone has a ball, dribble to the chair, and then "pop" the ball on the chair before making their move. That way each player has the own ball and no one else touches it. You'll need to explain to players, go after your own rebound... do not go after any other players ball... let it go.
