Timing is extremely important when it comes to shooting. Without it, the shooting motion is often a struggle.

Effective timing involves coordination between the legs, arms, and ball. Their movements must be in sync in order to have an efficient stroke.

The Core Principle of One Motion is this: BALL RISES AS KNEES BEND (see link below).

When the shot started (SET Position), the ball rose as the knees bent creating proper timing which resulted in a quick/smooth release.
