Lets just say that I am doing a crossover move from the FT line and I am facing the backboard directly. When I do the crossover and about to take off to the rim, should I consciously try to keep my two feet parallel to to the backboard and the baseline? OR should I just do the crossover as safely as I can and not worry about how are my feet are lined up?

You shouldn't do anything consciously. Just play!
