I am a sophomore tried out for the JV basketball team at my school . Coaches said yo work on couple things to be prepared next year, Does this show any chances of playing college ball and get recruited? Is it too late to be playing bball in High School as a Junior.

I don't know what your talent level is... Have you played any organized ball before? I had kids come into my program at the high school level, not making the 8th grade eam and with some hard work became very good varsity players.... some all conference. It all depends on how much work you are willing to put into this.
Find out exactly what you need to work on and IF you think it is worth your time and effort.... start working on your game. Stranger things have happened.
Playing college ball is a whole different matter.... it takes a lot of skill to be able to play at that level.

Its never too late to start anything ... I didn't go to college until I was 32 - so set your goals and start working towards them. GOOD LUCK
