Hey everyone, if anyone could give me a few tips for my shot I'd really appreciate it. Recently, I've been working on completely revamping it, and I want to make sure there aren't any flaws before I start putting up more shots, because I don't want to ingrain bad habits. I might try to improve follow through a little bit. Try for a relaxed floppy wrist instead of rigid. Index and middle finders relaxed on follow through and going towards the target, instead of pointing to the right each time. Start closer to the basket and work your way out. |

Thanks for the tips, I'll try to implement those. Another thing I was wondering about was the amount of leg and waist bend on my shot. Do you think I have too much or little, or is it good how it is? Thanks again! |

Agree with Jeff, the shooting hand appears to point to the right a lot which could be due to your initial hand position on the ball. The 3 point shot looks as if your shot is set-up right in front of your face vs. off the the side slightly. On the 3's, definitely need to have a bit more leg strength which comes from getting your butt down more, almost like you were going down to sit in a chair. This is a pretty good series of vids on the basics of shooting. Not sure I'd recommend revamping your shot completely, just take a peek and check to see if you need to tweak a few things.
