Hello,

My son is fairly quick on the court and he seems to be able to jump fairly well when he tries to but when he goes in for a layup or tries to get a rebound he doesn't look very strong at all. Is there a way teach him how to explode and be strong during a game in these sorts of situations? She he try to do some leg strenghtening?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Here is one thing you can read and try -

You can try plyometrics too.
