Hey guys, Maybe you can help with this. We are using a shot clock for the first time this year at the high school level. I'm looking for ways to effectively show the importance of this to my players and am looking for some drills to help.

I never had to deal with the shot clock.. its not used in our area... yet. IF I had to deal with that I would be using a clock EVERY DAY in practice... and especially the shot clock when dealing with our press offense and 1/2 court game.

The only way they are going to learn it is to practice with it. Good luck... and I'm glad I don't have to do that... a thought defensively...... IF I was going to play with one... I would run a contain type of press and drop back into a zone for a while and then go m2m... or just the opposite... something to keep the offense guessing. JMO
