I was wondering if there is a special option in this zone defense. My team runs it and are very successful at it. But I was wanting to know if there is a way to get more turnovers and traps without getting beat.

In the corners. However, you have to have help defenders who see the court well and can recover quickly.

I have coached overseas the past 8 years, both boys and girls and we have used the 1-2-2 as a match up with great success. We have generated a lot of turnovers with it with quick rotations and drops. But being quick is the key. We always have pressure on the ball and trap the corners and double team in the paint.
