Post subject:  offense?

Hi, I'm coaching a high school boys under-18 basketball team and i'm wondering what kind of offense should i use. I have 3 or 4 good shooters, a skilled controller, but unfortunately i have no centers.
I'm currently implementing the Sun's run and gun offense. But what other offense can i use when the uptempo game isn't working out?

IF you don't have any post players I would suggest that you run an open post offense... 5 out. I have one that I ran...

IF the link doesn't come through... copy and paste it. You need to be able to run a half court offense because the good teams will stop you from running.

An open post offense is a great idea.

You may also consider the dribble drive motion offense. If you have at least a big that isn't a strong ball handler but someone that can finish at point blank range on a weak side you should consider it. However you really need to be able to break people down off the dribble, but it will allow for your shooters to get open.

I'm going to consider the dribble drive motion offense. I feel that it will fit nicely for the team. Thanks for your suggestion coach sars. However i think the dribble drive offense suits my players better.

You know your players better than I do..... good luck, I hope that works out for you.
