I love your site....I am looking for a simple pass and screen away offense for my young high school team. Although it is varsity they have little experience with this....any ideas?

You could make a motion offense as simple as you want it to be. Motion would be my preference but that's not for everyone. Here's how you could run motion with a youth team (you could do something similar):

Here's another really simple offense. It does not use screening, although you could add that wrinkle.

My thought would be to teach the motion offense with some type of pass and screen away rule(s). (ex: If you pass, screen away. Or maybe better, if you pass, the two closest players screen the two farthest players.) If you have read Don Kelbick's book about motion offense, I'm sure it would make more sense and you'd see how simple motion is.

Thoughts?
