This will be my 4th season coaching and delveloping a youth basketball program in a small town. I'm considering putting together a board of directors made up of Jr. High and high school basketball coaches from both the girls and boys programs. My motivation with this youth basketball program is to improve the performance of our high school programs. I am looking for thoughts on the value of having a board of directors.

I think it's an excellent idea. It gives you experienced help in working through ideas and problems, more networking capabilities, but more importantly, ties with coaches that will be seeing the kids in a few years.
