First of all, I am glad to hear that there are still some youth coaches out there that have some class..... Kudos for that guy/gal.

Keep up the good work with your team, apparently you are beginning to see the fruits of your labor.... isn't it nice when you see your young kids improving?
As for bribery...... heck, a little treat is good for everybody.

Playing hard and having FUN is the #1 GOAL and as long as you are teaching them the game (seeing them improve) you are doing a GREAT JOB!

Keep up the good work and have some fun yourself.

I agree as an 8th grade girls coach, in a tournament recently, my girls had to play a combined 6th, 7th and 8th grade combined team. We never pressed and even in the second half, we set up and worked on our offense. Coaches need to understand when their team is so much better than the other team. They need to work on things, proper passing and other things
