I coach 6th grade girls team. We usually switch up between a 5 out motion offense/ 3-2 offense
We are going to be in the semi-finals against a team that has a really small court. We are used to playing on a large court so I worry the girls won’t know how to move the ball in this scenario. What are some tips/ strategies we can practice?

Thanks!

I would scrimmage on a small court (half and/or full). I would put down some tape, use existing markings on the floor, or use cones to shrink the court. Let them play, get used to it, and then point out what they need to do different for spacing. Might require a little more patience and just understanding how to space on the court with different dimensions.

Agree with Jeff. My two cents is make it harder than the game will be, so practice in a tighter spot before your game.
