I'm just starting my third year of coaching. I'll be coaching senior boys this year. I was planning on running an open post motion offense. Any tips on how to get good coverage on the offensive boards.

We ran the open post for our high school team.. maybe a little different than most, we had all five players above the free throw line.... gave us more opportunities for back door moves... simple rules.... if the ball is driven from the wing, the opposite wing goes for weak side rebounding and usually the top player was making a basket cut at that time...
That doesn't sound like a lot of rebounders but you have to remember that there players were also away from the basket.... if they were really good at help side D, we would reverse it until we broke them down and got what we wanted.
