Thanks for sharing your experience with the offense. Glad it seems to be working so far.

Here is another discussion about the cutters offense:

This makes me think. I wonder if there is a way to group coaches together that are running similar offenses and things of that nature. The coaches may be able to share ideas and help each other out. I'll think about that one and how the logistics might work.

Its been a long time since i worked with kids that young, however, when i did I gave them rules. Very simple rules. I ran a three rule motion.
1. Pass and always screen away
2. Closest to the ball screens away
3. Post players, post up for a 1000 and 1 count and screen across.

Once the youngsters get that down, and they will with practice, you can then throw in a few more moves, give them a choice of passing and screening away or going to the basket. Or on the screen away, give them the choice of replacing the screener or curling to the basket. Just a simple suggestion. always remember...KISS...Keep It Simple Stupid.
