My grandaughter is in 7th grade and this last year was her second year in basketball. She is kind of shy so I try to push her to be aggressive on the court. Which she responds to well. She has developed a shooting form where she pulls her one arm down when shooting the ball. She therefore is not making many baskets. I am looking for videos to help show her proper form and shooting skills. I am a beginner at assisting coaching but am trying to help her become a better player during the off season. Thank you.

It is never too late to play any sport - PERIOD. The same applies for basketball. If you are looking to start at 40, please do so. Or if its a younger age like 8–10 years old or in college when you've seen and are interested in the sport please pick up the ball or join a group and play.

Next year will be my freshman year in high school and suddenly I'm realizing how badly I want to be able to play basketball, but I am so far behind that I don't know how I'll be able to catch up over one summer. I need tips.

If you don't want to read all of this, just skip to the bottom paragraph
