Jeff brings up an excellent point, working on skills that are actually used in games.

One final suggestion from me, if you have an opportunity to get your son in a 3v3 league, do it. I think 3v3 is a great way to improve on basketball skills while still having fun. More ball touches and more opportunity work on all kinds of fundamentals.

Go easy on her. Let her move at her safe pace. As she builds up confidence and sees how good she really is at her sport, she will start to get more "aggressive". She definitely needs to feel secure and sure of herself. It will come.
