Camp Introduction

Develop high-level scoring moves that will keep defenders off-balance and give yourself the advantage no matter where you are on the floor.

This intensive camp teaches you the pillars to becoming a complete offensive player who can score at will against even the tightest defenses.

Whether you’re looking to dominate the competition or simply make the team, this camp will take your game to the next level before next season starts.

Player benefits

We use a “Progressions”-based approach to ensure all players establish a strong foundation while incorporating complex drills for advanced players. This ensures all age levels and skill levels are challenged appropriately.

At this basketball camp you will learn:
Orange Check Shooting fundamentals that will quickly boost your FG and FT % (stance, release point, hand position and follow through)
Orange Check Constructing your killer crossover to blow by defenders
Orange Check A rarely taught shooting adjustment that extends your shooting range while staying highly accurate
Orange Check Sneaky finishing moves perfected by the pros (so you stop getting blocked)
Orange Check Common mistakes that limit players’ offensive abilities (and quick fixes for each)
Orange Check Finishing at the basket through contact (even against bigger, stronger players)
Orange Check How to develop a quicker shot release to get better looks and avoid getting blocked
Orange Check Techniques for creating space so you get more clean looks at the basket
Orange Check How to change direction with your dribble to get separation
Orange Check Pro-level secrets to shooting off the dribble
Orange Check Catch-and-shoot fundamentals for varying game situations
Orange Check Keys to protecting the ball under pressure
Orange Check The “shooter’s mentality” that will immediately give you a psychological edge in every situation

What’s Your “Why”?

Every player has their own unique motivations and goals for attending a Breakthrough camp, including:

Orange Check Getting more playing time
Orange Check Stepping into shots with confidence
Orange Check Making the “A” team
Orange Check Increasing your scoring average
Orange Check Higher FG and FT %
Orange Check Making teams pay for leaving you open
Orange Check Feeling confident even against stiff competition
Orange Check Protecting the ball and lowering turnovers
Orange Check Finishing at the basket through contact
Orange Check Beating your defender off the dribble with crafty moves
Orange Check Loving the game more than ever as you see yourself succeed

What are YOUR biggest motivations?

Come to camp focused on what you want to achieve and put yourself in the best position to succeed.

No matter what your goals are, the Scoring, Shooting, and Ball-Handling Camp can help you achieve them.

This was really a great basketball camp filled with information and new skills taught by a great coaching staff with lots of experience. The only thing I'll talk about is the length of this camp! I needed more of it.

I think the camp was very well run. The coaches kept good control of the kids while keeping them focused on the drills they needed to learn. Everything was well structured and the ratio of kids to coaches was good. They also kept the kids moving and going with minimal breaks to really maximize their time in the drills.

In three days the improvement he showed was outstanding. He feels much more confident in his skills. It was a very positive and enjoyable experience. We will definitely be doing these camps in the future.

I would give Breakthrough more than 5 stars if it was an option. I continue to be thoroughly impressed with this program and the coaches that lead the camps. No wasted time and they maximize reps at every opportunity. Far superior to any other camps we've attended. Well done, Breakthrough!

My son has attended the Breakthrough Basketball Camp for 3 years in a row. This is by far some of the best training he has received. Not only the basketball training, but the classroom and life skills training portion have helped him grow leaps and bounds.

My son has been to 2 camps and learned a lot each time. Lessons were taught in a positive manner and kids were busy practicing throughout the whole day! The Coach also talked to players about positive life skills (practicing gratitude, etc). Skills were taught to not only foster better basketball players, but also better humans! We will definitely be back! Very much well worth the money!

My child came home every day saying she loved the camp. She loves basketball and has gone to several camps and this one seems to be a favorite. She's also worn out so I know she's been pushed hard all day.
