I have recently been approached by several players at my local high school at varying levels in the Girls Basketball program (Freshmen through Varsity). All of them state the same problem and ask for the same thing. They all desire to improve upon their abilities as both individuals and as a team, and the potential is there, simply not the coaching (the Varsity has lost over 60 straight games, last win was in December of '08).

What I'm asking is, what could I do in order to help these players improve upon their abilities during this off-season? I know the Varsity Head Coach personally, so working with him is always a possibility. Are there maybe any generalized guides anyone has for post/perimeter players that I could use as a template?

Any help that is provided would be greatly appreciated, and either individual or team plans would be great.

Thanks in advance,
Brian

At the risk of sounding self serving, this will be a start.
